Every year, Mungo’s corporate social responsibility program, MOVE, hosts a “Design Your Own Kikoi” workshop with students from Crags Primary School. All proceeds from the winning kikoi go towards funding a teacher at the school. This year’s winner is Jesslyn Windvogel with her “Galaxy” kikoi.

Over 120 swimmers joined our Winter Solstice Swim on June 20th, collectively raising R30,000 for Adopt a Swimmer – a Plett-based NGO committed to offering children from disadvantaged communities the essential life skill of learning to swim.

With the wind up to summer, we reflect on 2023 – from our highly anticipated Swim Club and funds raised for I AM WATER, to new launches and a new retail store. It’s a time that rings of growth and good feeling, that we’ll carry well into the new year.

Each year Mungo invites students from the Crags Primary School in Plettenberg Bay to the Mungo Mill, for a mill tour & textile workshop. Introducing the ‘Mungo Moon’, designed by Alwynia Simon and sold in aid of the Kids of Kurland foundation.

In alignment with the values of our Corporate Social Responsibility program, MOVE, we host staff development workshops. We recently wrapped up a gardening course, where members of the Mungo team got to trips of resourceful & self-sustaining principles of permaculture.
