The Last Days Before Lockdown.
In the lead up to lockdown, we had to make a choice.
To cut our losses, so to speak (or in this case, our linen).
The result? We switched off our looms and pooled all our efforts into making face masks.
The first priority was to provide masks to our staff. So with the help of our dedicated seamstresses, we switched into full tilt mask making mode. Refining the design, and testing as we went.
Here are some pictures from those last few days.

Since the early testing, we’ve refined our design and made the first batch available to the public. Due to the overwhelming demand, these sold out in a matter of hours. We are now working as fast as we can to produce more, and are currently taking back orders. You can place your order online and we’ll add you to our back order list. This means that you’ll be allocated stock from the next batch of masks, which will be received at the Mungo Mill for pressing, packaging and delivery at the soonest availability.
